Jaffa Juniors Tour reaches latest milestone!

Just a few short months after reaching 5000, our Jaffa Juniors tour has visited over 10,000 school children to teach them about citrus fruit!

We reached our latest milestone at St Brigid’s Primary School in Wishaw. Class teacher, Mr Gavin, stated:

” The pupils and staff were delighted with the successful workshop led by Jaffa Juniors. All of our children from P1-P7 were engaged in learning about the life cycle of a clementine and this successful workshop enhanced our health week and has instilled long lasting knowledge in our children and has encouraged them to eat their 5 a day.”

In conjunction with the Tesco Eat Happy Project, the Jaffa Juniors tour takes place in schools across the UK and is packed full of fun but educational activities which cover everything from how oranges are grown to the many health benefits of citrus fruit. The tour’s activities are in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2, ensuring that children of a wide range of ages and abilities get the the most out of the tour.
